I wanted to speed up learning Spanish

I started Lumize, because every night I was memorizing Spanish words from a text book. At the time I was also trying to improve my English vocabulary. The learning process seemed a bit inneficient for me, and I was thinking about ways to optimize this. That's how over the last few years a gradually came up with Lumize. It started with a web app, but eventually I thought the real value would be in a mobile app, as I always have it on me, and in general I was fascinated by the idea of being able to build a mobile app.
